Please note that there is an industry tolerance of +/- 0.3mm when manufacturing leather cording. For example, a cord labeled as 1.5mm could be as large as 1.8mm or as small as 1.2mm.

All dyes used during manufacture of the leather cords are certified free from lead, AZO's, PCP, mercury, formaldehyde, Chromium VI, cadmium and other carcinogenic/hazardous chemicals.
They also fully comply with all requirements of the strict German Goods Ordinance, REACH (European Union), RoSH (U.K.), and CPSIA (U.S.) and exceed the most restrictive environmental requirements found worldwide.

Liberty fabric cords are manufactured in a way where continuous lengths of cord have a sewing join every 2-2.5 yards. The length between joins varies and the join itself can be anything from virtually unnoticeable to a bit lumpy.

‼️All SINGLE YARD purchases will be sent free of sewing joins, but MULTIPLE YARDS of 3 yards or longer may come as 2 pieces if there are issues with the sewing quality of the cord along the spool that I will have to cut away and discard. ‼️

I have been very conscious for a while now of the amount of plastic that has traditionally been used in selling supplies and been looking for alternatives. For UK orders I've been switching from plastic grip bags to paper bags wherever it makes sense and is practical. I have also been able to source a fully recyclable and degradable packing tape that is still strong and reliable during transit. For international orders I am sadly still sticking to plastic grip bags for the time being in order to protect fabrics and leather cords from moisture during the much longer journeys. Many of my orders will now ship in brown, un-bleached postal boxes.
